SphereHub: SphereHub is a housing/roommate matching platform for students.
Carson Becker: sole designer
The Goal: unify three distinct audiences with one cohesive website and brand.
Challenge
The previous site fell flat and didn’t prioritize user needs. The biggest challenge was designing for three unique audiences on one platform. Students needed a friendly experience; landlords needed results; universities prioritized security.

Universities
Our main findings revealed that students, landlords, and universities alike face confusion, distrust, and inefficiency in the current housing process. Students struggle with scams, uncertainty, and isolation; landlords find it difficult to connect with verified tenants; and universities lack a reliable, centralized system.
Colors
This is an unusually complex and vibrant palette. While it is varied, I also ensured it would be harmonious. The diverse and vibrant hues represent the diverse nature of the international students whom the platform primarily serves.
Photography
For a platform appealing to such a diverse audience, it was important to represent multiple identities. I used imaginative shapes, while keeping it grounded in reality through photography.
